Looking for a real Cape Cod Halloween fright?
The Village Mire in South Yarmouth is the place to be for a spooktacular treat.
But beware – this Halloween haunt is not for the faint of heart.
Do You Dare Enter The Village Mire?
On All Hallow’s Eve the dead come to life and the mad genetic engineer who resides at 43 Captain Daniel Road unleashes his genetically-mutated creatures on unsuspecting trick-or-treaters.
Those brave enough to venture into the Mire in search of treats may themselves be the ones to get tricked.
Free Haunted Yard
If you want to see more than a pumpkin and scarecrow on the front porch on All Hallow’s Eve, then stop by for a spell at the Village Mire.
The Village Mire is open for drive-by viewing from October 11 – 30th, and open for trick or treating on Halloween night at 5:30pm.
Ghost Tours
Of course, if you’re more interested in haunted legend and lore – there are plenty of good Cape Cod ghost stories in the region.
You can take a ghost tour and experience a little fun and fright along Old Kings Highway in Barnstable.
It’s the perfect Halloween excursion for the whole family.
Also fun for the kids – the Harvest of Horrors Haunted House at Tony Andrew’s Farm in East Falmouth.
