Cape Cod offers vacationers an abundance of natural beauty and many unique natural settings they won’t find in other areas of the country. From the Cape’s cranberry bogs to its bayside and oceanside beaches, there are many different environmental and ecological wonders on Cape Cod.
Perhaps one of the Cape’s most interesting landscapes is the rolling windswept dunes at The Cape Cod National Seashore – and, one of the best places to experience these dunes is at the Province Lands Visitors Center.

Guided Tours
Ranger guided tours of the dunes are also offered daily in the summer, and periodically during spring and fall months. Look for special events as well like family campfires, and canoe and surf casting programs.
There are also two beautiful beaches at Province Lands: Herring Cove and Race Point.
Before you leave the Visitors Center, make sure you spend some time on the observation deck.
This platform offers a wonderful 360 degree view of both the surrounding dunes and the ocean, and it’s a great place to snap some photos.
