One in particular – Craigville in Barnstable – is always a hit, especially on Labor Day.

Craigville Beach – which is located on Nantucket Sound –  is a favorite among teens and adults alike. The beach is big – very big – which is perfect if you want to set up shop and spend the whole day there with the family.

You’ll find plenty of sunbathers, picnicking families, and a ton of swimmers body surfing the waves.

Parking is breeze, as the lot was built to accomodate large crowds.

At Craigville, the sand is clean – the water pretty – and everyone is smiling.

After all, it is New England. Life can’t get much better.
