Cape Cod is filled with dozens of great golf courses, each offering its own unique feature. But, Bay Pointe Country Club in Onset, MA is truly extraordinary.
Stunning Greens
Built in the late 60′s – Bay Pointe was originally known as the Wareham Country Club until 1988. That same year, the Pavilion was constructed and the famous island green 7th hole was created.
Bay Pointe now has a unique collection of 19 holes and two distinct clubhouses ~ The Pavilion and The Golf House.
Playing to a par-70, Bay Pointe is rated 70.3 and sloped 118 from the back tees. The overall yardage may appear comparatively short on the card (6201 from Blue Tees), but it plays substantially longer.
Terrain is generally gentle, apart from holes #1 and #2 which challenge golfers who begin their round on the hilliest portion of the grounds.
And again – watch out for that 7th hole!
We know guests who come back year after year just play the “7th hole at Bay Pointe.” It’s become legendary!
