Cape Cod loves a party – and there’s no better time to do that than during the summer.
There are literally dozens of fairs and festivals happening RIGHT NOW across Cape Cod and the islands, each playing homage to beaches, fishing, farming, seafood, the arts, and family fun.
But none is more wild, more thrilling, and more unusual than the Cape Cod Stampede.
Yes, you read that right. It’s called the Cape Cod Stampede.
Ride ‘Em Cowboy
On August 14-15, head to the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in East Falmouth for some Western fun. It’s bull riding, bronco riding, and barrel racing all rolled into two days of pure fun for the whole family.
There will be professional rodeo performances and country music shows featuring Chad Burdick and Something With Digby.
And, you’ll want to get your taste buds ready because participants will be asked to vote for the “best of the fest” barbecue and chili.
The Cape Cod Stampede is sponsored by the Boston-based Spirit of the American Cowboy Foundation and serves as a fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
